A recent report suggest that female directors of UK firms work longer days than their male counterparts but earn, on average, 19 percent (around 14,000) a year less. Although the pay gap has narrowed by five percent since last year, it shows that even those woman who break through the glass ceiling and reach board level will find another roof over their heads.
